AUSTRALIAN MADE ALUMINIUM CANOPIES

BUILT AROUND
WHAT YOU CARRY.

Your canopy should work around the way you use your vehicle.

Work gear. Touring equipment. Fridge. Drawers. Pantry. Electrical. Everyday storage.

GWorks canopies are Australian made and designed around a modular internal platform, giving you the flexibility to configure the setup around what you carry and how you use it.

THE GWORKS APPROACH

START WITH THE CANOPY. BUILD THE INSIDE AROUND YOU.

What you carry changes depending on how you use your vehicle.

Fridge. Drawers. Pantry. Electrical. Tools. Recovery equipment. Camping gear.
What you carry changes depending on how you use your vehicle.

Fridge. Drawers. Pantry. Electrical. Tools. Recovery equipment. Camping gear.

Rather than designing the canopy around one fixed internal layout, we start with the canopy as the platform.

From there, the internal setup can be configured around what you carry, how you access it and how your vehicle is used.

And as those requirements change, the setup has room to evolve with them.

ENGINEERED INTO THE DETAILS

BUILT BEYOND WHAT YOU CAN SEE.

A canopy is more than the aluminium shell you see from the outside.

Its long term performance comes from the structure behind it, how the doors are supported, how openings are sealed, how the internal fitout is mounted and how the canopy connects to the tray.

These details are considered as part of the complete canopy platform from the beginning.

ENGINEERED FOR HOW THE CANOPY WILL ACTUALLY BE USED.

STRUCTURE WHERE IT MATTERS.

The outer shell is only one part of the canopy.

GWorks canopies are manufactured from 3 mm 5052 aluminium and supported by an internal frame that provides structure for the doors, internal fitout and accessory mounting.

A STRONGER FOUNDATION FOR EVERYTHING THAT GOES INSIDE.

DESIGNED FOR REPEATED USE.

Canopy doors become one of the hardest working parts of the entire setup.

Door structure, bracing, hinges, gas struts and locking hardware are considered together to create a door system designed around regular access and long term use.

THE PARTS YOU USE EVERY DAY DESERVE THE SAME ATTENTION AS THE STRUCTURE BEHIND THEM.

PROTECTION STARTS WITH THE DETAILS.

Protecting the equipment inside begins with controlling how the doors close and seal against the canopy.

GWorks canopies use an automotive style sealing system designed to create consistent contact around the door opening and help protect the equipment stored inside.

DESIGNED TO HELP KEEP YOUR EQUIPMENT PROTECTED WHERE THE OUTSIDE WORLD MEETS THE CANOPY.

DESIGNED AROUND MORE THAN ONE LAYOUT.

What you carry today may not be what you carry in the future.

The internal frame and mounting system provide the foundation for drawers, refrigeration, pantry storage, shelving, electrical equipment and other compatible components.

This allows the internal configuration to be developed around how the canopy will actually be used rather than forcing every build into the same fixed layout.

A PLATFORM DESIGNED TO ADAPT AROUND HOW YOU USE IT.

DESIGNED WITH REMOVAL IN MIND.

A premium canopy should not become a permanent obstacle when the vehicle or setup needs attention.

Integrated lift off points and the canopy mounting system allow the canopy to be removed from the tray when required for access, maintenance or changes to the vehicle setup.

BECAUSE HOW A PRODUCT IS SERVICED LATER MATTERS TOO.

START YOUR BUILD

BUILD THE INSIDE

CONFIGURE IT AROUND
HOW YOU USE IT.

START WITH WHAT YOU NEED.
ADD WHAT MAKES SENSE.

The canopy gives you the structure.

What goes inside should be built around what you actually carry.

Fridge. Drawers. Pantry. Electrical. Shelving. Oven. Tools. Touring gear.

Rather than forcing every setup into the same layout, we can configure the internal space around how you access your equipment, what needs to stay secure and what you use most often.

01

REFRIGERATION

KEEP IT ACCESSIBLE.

A fridge is one of the most frequently used parts of a touring setup.

Its position should make it easy to access while allowing the surrounding storage to work around it.
Configured canopy interior
02

DRAWER STORAGE

A PLACE FOR THE THINGS YOU REACH FOR MOST.

Drawers create organised, easily accessible storage for tools, recovery equipment, kitchen gear and everyday items.

The right drawer setup depends on what you carry and how often you need it.

03

PANTRY

MAKE THE SMALL STUFF EASY TO FIND.

Pantry storage keeps frequently used items organised and accessible without taking over the rest of the canopy.

It can be incorporated alongside refrigeration, drawers and other storage depending on the setup.

04

ELECTRICAL

POWER WHERE YOU NEED IT.

Battery systems, inverters, charging equipment and power distribution all take up valuable canopy space.

Planning the electrical system as part of the internal layout helps keep the installation organised and leaves usable storage where it matters.

05

SHELVING AND STORAGE

USE THE SPACE ABOVE THE FLOOR.

Not everything belongs in a drawer.

Shelving and open storage can make better use of the available height while keeping larger or frequently accessed equipment within reach.

06

COOKING AND ACCESSORIES

BUILD AROUND HOW YOU TRAVEL.

Ovens, cooking equipment and other accessories can be incorporated where they suit the way you use the vehicle.

The goal is not to fill every space. It is to make every part of the setup useful.

YOUR CANOPY SHOULD WORK AROUND YOUR GEAR.
NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

AUSTRALIAN MANUFACTURING

MADE HERE.
FROM RAW ALUMINIUM TO FINISHED CANOPY.

DESIGNED HERE.
MANUFACTURED HERE.
BACKED HERE.

A GWorks canopy does not arrive in a box ready to assemble.

It starts with raw aluminium and moves through our manufacturing process here in Australia.

Design. CNC processing. Folding. Fabrication. Welding. Surface preparation. Powder coating. Assembly.

Keeping the process under our control means we can control how the canopy is manufactured, finished and ultimately supported.

01 DESIGN

IT STARTS BEFORE THE FIRST CUT.

The canopy is developed around its structure, manufacturing process, internal platform and how the finished product will be used.

Having design and manufacturing working together means what is drawn has to make sense on the workshop floor.

02 CNC PROCESSING + FOLDING

TURNING THE DESIGN INTO PARTS.

Raw aluminium is processed into the individual components that form the canopy.

Accurate processing and folding help create the repeatable fit between the parts before fabrication begins.

03 FABRICATION + WELDING

WHERE THE STRUCTURE COMES TOGETHER.

The canopy body, internal structure and doors come together through fabrication and welding.

This is where individual components become the structure of the finished canopy.

04 FINISHING + POWDER COATING

PREP MATTERS.

Before final assembly, components move through surface preparation and powder coating to create the finished surface of the canopy.

05 ASSEMBLY

THE FINAL DETAILS COME TOGETHER.

Doors, seals, locks, gas struts and other hardware are brought together during final assembly.

The result is a finished canopy built by the same business responsible for the design behind it.

BUILT FOR WHAT COMES NEXT

YOUR CANOPY SHOULD CHANGE
WHEN YOUR NEEDS DO.

BUILD IT FOR TODAY.
LEAVE ROOM FOR TOMORROW.

The way you use your vehicle today might not be the way you use it in three years.

Work changes. Trips change. Equipment changes. Vehicles change.

That is why the GWorks canopy is designed around a platform that gives you room to adapt the setup as your requirements evolve.
GWorks canopy platform ready for future requirements
01

CHANGE YOUR STORAGE

RECONFIGURE WHAT'S INSIDE.

The equipment you carry changes over time.

A modular internal platform gives you greater flexibility to change storage, shelving and compatible accessories as your requirements evolve.

CHANGE THE SETUP. NOT THE WHOLE CANOPY.

02

CHANGE HOW YOU USE IT

WORK TODAY. TOUR TOMORROW.

A vehicle built around work today might become a touring vehicle later, or the other way around.

Being able to rethink the internal setup gives the canopy greater flexibility as the role of the vehicle changes.

BUILT AROUND MORE THAN ONE CHAPTER.

03

CHANGE THE VEHICLE

YOUR NEXT VEHICLE DOESN'T ALWAYS MEAN STARTING AGAIN.

Where the new vehicle uses a compatible GWorks tray and canopy platform, your existing canopy may be able to form part of the next setup.

Compatibility depends on the vehicle, tray platform, canopy dimensions and the requirements of the new installation.

DESIGNED WITH THE NEXT BUILD IN MIND.

04

KEEP BUILDING

ADD WHAT MAKES SENSE LATER.

You do not need to solve every part of the vehicle on day one.

Compatible storage, electrical and accessories can be incorporated as your requirements develop, allowing the setup to evolve rather than forcing every decision at the beginning.

START WITH WHAT YOU NEED.

CANOPY FAQ

QUESTIONS BEFORE
YOU START YOUR BUILD?

Choosing the right canopy involves more than selecting a size.

Here are some of the common questions around fitment, configuration, internal storage, future changes and warranty.

What size GWorks canopy should I choose?

The right canopy size depends on your tray platform, vehicle configuration, available tray space and how you intend to use the vehicle.

Our canopy configurator above shows the available canopy sizes for each supported platform and is the best place to start.

If you are unsure, our team can help you work through the available space and what you want to carry before deciding on a configuration.

How much does a GWorks canopy weigh?

Canopy weight varies depending on the canopy size, platform and configuration selected.

Use the configurator above to view the approximate weight for your selected canopy.

Final vehicle payload and axle capacities should always be considered when planning the complete build.

What is included with a GWorks canopy?

Standard inclusions depend on the canopy and configuration selected.

Use the configurator above to view the inclusions and available options for the canopy you are considering.

This keeps the information specific to your selected setup rather than assuming every canopy is configured the same way.

Can I configure the inside of my canopy?

Yes.

The GWorks canopy uses a modular internal platform that allows the internal setup to be configured around what you carry and how you use the vehicle.

Depending on the available space and configuration, this can include refrigeration, drawers, pantry storage, shelving, electrical equipment and other compatible accessories.

Can I change the internal setup later?

Yes. One of the advantages of the modular internal platform is the ability to adapt the setup as your requirements change.

Storage, shelving and compatible accessories may be able to be changed or added later, depending on the canopy configuration and available space.

Can I move my canopy to another vehicle later?

Potentially.

Where the new vehicle uses a compatible GWorks tray and canopy platform, your existing canopy may be able to form part of the next setup.

Compatibility depends on the vehicle, tray platform, canopy dimensions and the requirements of the new installation.

Our team can confirm compatibility before any vehicle change is planned.

Is the canopy waterproof or dustproof?

Yes.

GWorks canopies are designed and manufactured to be water and dust tight, helping protect the equipment stored inside from the conditions your vehicle is exposed to.

The canopy uses an automotive style sealing system around the door openings, combined with the canopy and door design to create a sealed storage space.

Where are GWorks canopies manufactured?

GWorks canopies are manufactured in Australia by our team in Port Macquarie, NSW.

The canopy moves through our manufacturing process from raw aluminium through CNC processing, folding, fabrication, welding, finishing and assembly.

What warranty does a GWorks canopy have?

For the original end user purchaser, GWorks canopies are backed by our Lifetime Structural Warranty, subject to GWorks warranty terms.

For the original corporate purchaser, structural warranty coverage is 10 years, subject to GWorks warranty terms.

Third party components are covered according to the individual manufacturer's warranty terms.
